This is the homepage for the Wisconsin Chippewa Valley area Bujinkan headed by the Yamamizu Renmei Bujinkan group. These classes and group activities are supervised and ran by Chief instructor Kent Bergstrom. Licensed Bujinkan instructor and Kaicho of the Yamamizu Renmei Bujutsu Kai martial arts systems.

The study of ninjutsu..

Many aspects to ninjutsu are a lifelong process. Keeping yourself ready for conflict resolution can be one way of looking at your training instead of jumping out of tree's and throwing ninja stars. To some extent the movie version of ninja is helpful to bring an awareness of ninjutsu practice existence, but with the dominance of sport martial arts in the community, it is an educational responsibility to clear the myths and mystery surrounding these arts.

Bujinkan License

Members of Bujinkan who teach can be checked out with a Shidoshi License from Grandmaster Massaki Hatsumi Sensei. They are also required to be active members of the Shidoshi Kai and have membership cards that reflect this active membership for the year.

Students are in possesion of a diploma of the level of rank they hold and membership cards.

What is the importance of Junan Taiso?

The importance of Junan Taiso, (method of flexibility and breathing), was discussed the other evening during practice. There are many methods of practice that can be maintained to be ahead of the learning curve of experience with this particular discipline. It is the utmost importance that the newcomer as well as the seasoned practitioner be on a regular practice routine with stretching, warmups, conditioning etc. These practices, we believe, should not be isolated for classroom (dojo) time. It should be taken seriously to practice on a regular basis. There are numerous ways to keep these practices from getting boring by rotating your practices to something a little different every day. Newsflash

Yesterday all servers in the U.S. went out on strike in a bid to get more RAM and better CPUs. A spokes person said that the need for better RAM was due to some fool increasing the front-side bus speed. In future, buses will be told to slow down in residential motherboards.
