Traditional vs. Henka

When doing our practice, we make every effort to analyze the provided information on specifically how to do a technique. With the translation issue from Japanese to English and the many variations of how to analyze such things, it is great to be able to also analyze henka. (variation of the technique)
We also attempt to stress that “henka” is a variation of the technique and not something completely different. So when working on your henka, and your attempting to do mae geri from ichimonji no kamae, your not going to do a henka that is a chi no gata movement out of jumonji no kamae ;-)
